For some of the Samsung CDMA phones, the following key sequence
will get you into Field Test Mode.
These sequences are known to work on the Samsung a670 CDMA phones.
Try:
Menu, 0, *, 000000
or
Menu, 4, *, 000000
or
Menu, 6, *, 000000
or
Menu, 7, *, 000000
It looks like for most Samsungs one of the numbers 0 through
9 gets you into field test. Start with 0, then 9, then 8, then 7, and work
downward until you find the number that works on your Samsung:
Menu, 0, *, (number), 000000
DO NOT GO CHANGING ANY OF THE VALUES
IN THESE MENUS UNLESS YOU KNOW, WITHOUT A DOUBT, WHAT YOUR DOING.
IF YOU ACCIDENTLY CHANGE SETTINGS,
YOU COULD RENDER YOUR PHONE UNUSABLE.
