Test Mode and Cell Site Hunting
Field
Test Mode for a cell phone is a special phone mode, invoked through
a phone menu usually protected by a password, allowing a user or a field
technician to gain access to additional debug modes the phone offers.
For the various wireless technologies (CDMA, GSM, ESMR, etc.),
the options for each differ widely. This web page will initially offer
some of the basics of entering into Field Test Mode for some of the
more popular phones, and possibly a description of what the data denotes.
